Several people are feared dead on the Nsawam-Accra road after a trailer veered off the road and crashed into three Kia trucks, a Ford Explorer and a Taxi.
Other private cars were also damaged beyond description in the accident.
Passengers, according to eye witnesses, were trapped in the wrecked cars.
Onlookers helped in rescuing some victims while others remained trapped.
The police arrived at the scene but were helpless as there were no tow trucks and other tools like chainsaws to cut throw the metals to retrieve bodies.
The passengers and drivers on board the vehicles trapped under the trailer are all feared dead.
