Manchester United have once again reiterated that Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale.
Reports had earlier suggested that the club would be willing to listen to offers having become resigned to the fact that Ronaldo would be leaving Old Trafford.
However, in the latest development, United have sent Sky Sports News the following statement:
“Contrary to reports, there is absolutely no change in our position on Cristiano.
“He has a year remaining on his contract and is not for sale.”
Ronaldo, who has one year left on his contract, has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Chelsea so far this summer, with the Blues’ new chief Todd Boehly recently meeting with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes.
