President John Dramani Mahama turns 58 today Tuesday 29 November, 2016.
Mr Mahama has been in office since 2012.
He served as the Vice President from 2009 to 2012, and took office as president on 24 July, 2012 following the death of his predecessor John Atta Mills.
He was elected to serve his first term as president in the December 2012 election.
Prior to becoming vice president, Mr Mahama was a Member of Parliament from 1997 to 2009 and Minister of Communications from 1998 to 2001.
He is seeking re-election in the 2016 polls scheduled for December 7.
