President John Mahama has had nomination forms picked on his behalf by the governing National Democratic Congress’ Deputy General Secretary, Mr Koku Anyidoho.
Mr Mahama is running for a second term in the December polls.
Mr Anyidoho picked the forms from the Electoral Commission in Accra on Wednesday, 14 September.
Presidential nominees are expected to pay GHS50,000 as filing fee while parliamentary aspirants will pay GHS10,000.
Some of the parties, NPP and CPP, have described the fees as exorbitant.
