Young talented hiphop artist, Kwesi Arthur has disclosed that he will not back down if he is challenged by a relevant artist in a lyrical battle.
However, he clarified that, not every challenge is worthy of a response, adding that he will never engage in beef with musicians he respects.
“I don’t know how I will react if someone disses me… but if someone disses me I might reply them. I respect some people, there are some people, you can’t insult, some people you can’t offend, so if someone like that disses me with a song I won’t reply…” he stated.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the Grind Day hitmaker mentioned he was not arrogant as a section of the public perceive.
“They might have a misunderstanding with me that I don’t know about…, I don’t think I will offend anyone intentionally… I try not let my pride get in a way.” He stressed.
Kwesi Arthur known in his private life as Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior in June this year became the only Ghanaian to receive a nomination at this year’s Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards. He was nominated in the ‘Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act’ category.
His ‘Grind Day’ won ‘Hip Pop Song of the Year’ at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards.
