The Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Dr Samiu Kwadwo Nuamah, has commiserated with the family of the two kids who lost their lives after a heavy downpour collapsed their building.
The MP extended his condolences to the deceased family and assured them of his unflinching support in these difficult times.
He promised to offer full educational scholarship to their surviving child and also offered an undisclosed amount of seed money to the mother to start a business.
He, however, reiterated his call for homeowners to take precautions in ensuring the safety of residents as well as maintaining a safer environment for all.
He said these when he inspected the level of damage caused by the torrential rain on Tuesday, October 10. During the visit, he assured affected residents of government’s commitment to support them in these difficult times. He was flanked by the Assembly members of the areas he visited. Among the electoral areas he visited are Tanoso, Kwadaso, Apatrapa, Nzima and Ohwimase Takyiman.
The family was very appreciative and expressed their enormous gratitude to the MP for such a wonderful gesture.
