Celebrated Ghanaian highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena is set to hold the third edition of his annual SAVE A LIFE charity concert.
Kwabena Kwabena’s KBKB Music in collaboration with National Cardiothoracic Centre will entertain patrons of the event and raise money to support needy children suffering from hole in heart diseases.
This year’s concert is slated for Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Banquet Hall, State House.
The foundation was born out of the increasing need to save lives of children with the various heart conditions whose parents cannot afford the cost of surgery.
Since its inception in 2013, the foundation has supported over 15 children with critical heart conditions through surgeries with the able partnership of the National Cardiothoracic Centre, Korle Bu.
Every year, the foundation organises a musical show, “SAVE A LIFE CONCERT” to raise funds to pay for the cost of surgeries for these little ones. However, this year will also have an educational campaign to create awareness about heart diseases.
Kwabena Kwabena has promised a great show on the night, “It feels good to know that other showbiz personalities share my desire to help heart patients.”
“We are collectively going to offer a wonderful package of entertainment at the event and I urge all to come and support this noble initiative,” he added.
Kwabena also appealed to individuals, philanthropists, non-government organizations, the media and all who have to means to support this worthy cause.
