The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win swing regions including Greater Accra, Central and Western in the December 7 polls, former President John Agyekum Kufuor has said.
Speaking at the NPP’s final rally at the trade fair centre in Accra on Sunday, 4 December, Mr Kufuor said: “God has lifted his hands and ordained the NPP as the next government of Ghana. Ghana will rise again. We will do the right thing with the right leadership led by Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia”.
“Let us vote wisely with the love of country at heart, and for our children’s children. This election is for NPP. We are starting the victory from Greater Accra to Eastern region, Brong Ahafo, Western and Central regions. We will share the other five regions with the other contesting candidates”, Mr Kufuor added.
According to him, the men and women that made his government successful are still around to help Mr Akufo-Addo lead the country to prosperity.
