Newly-appointed acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Vincent Opare, says one of the network’s cherishe presenters, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, will soon be back on air.
Mr. Adoma has been off duty since August 2022, following attacks on him by some unidentified persons who nearly took his life while he was driving home on the Agbogba-Kwabenya road within the Ga East Municipality.
The ABN Director of News until the incident, was also the host of the Anopa Bofoↄ morning show on Angel 102.9 FM which is also transmitted live on Angel TV.
Kwamina Sam Biney, his co-host of the programme fully took over moderating the show and is supported by Kwadwo Oppong Kyeremeh as well as other staff of the programmes department.
Some ardent audience of the station keep asking when Kofi Adoma would be returning to full duties after staying off for eight months but management have remained silent on these many calls.
Many believed the inclusion of Kyeremeh on the morning show was a direct replacement for Kofi Adoma Nwanwani but Vincent Opare has asked listeners and viewers of Angel FM and Angel TV respectively, to remain calm as he brings back Kofi Adoma.
“For Kofi Adoma, I know in no time, we shall see his face back on air,” Mr. Opare told the Anopa Bofo morning show co-host, Nana Yaa Brefo on Monday, March 20, when he appeared on the programme.
Vicent Opare, until his elevation to the role of acting CEO was the Marketing Director of Adonko Company Limited, a subsidiary of the the Angel Group.
