The Awutu Senya East municipal assembly has organised an emergency press conference to respond to an allegation by the former Judge Felicia Gandezi that she uses a chamber pot because there are no washrooms at the court circulating on various social media platforms following the visit of Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo’S four day tour of the central region.
Opanyin Darko, AccraFM’s Central regional correspondent upon a visit to the Kasoa court facility detected that, there are enough washrooms as well as other infrastructure for any standard court as proposed by the Judicial Service but there’s no washroom in the office of the judge so she has to move from the court room to use the washroom.
According to the MCE Hon. Michael Asumang Mensah , the former judge was transferred from Kasoa to a rural area and that triggered her to fabricate lies , “her aim is to tarnish the image of the assembly”.
He has however charged Ghanaians to disregard the chamber pot saga since the magistrate court has all the necessary facilities
