As part of celebrations to mark World Water Day, Kasapakeo Company Limited has donated 30 boxes of Awake Purified Drinking Water to the management of Class Media Group limited, parent company of Class91.3FM, Accra100.5FM, Adehyeɛ 99.1FM, Kumasi FM, Number One105.FM, and CTV.
World Water Day, an initiative by the United Nations, is celebrated on 22nd March of every year, taking into consideration actions needed to tackle the water crisis across the globe.
Speaking in an interview with Chief Jerry Forson, host of Ghana Yensom on Accra100.5FM on Wednesday, Eugene Ntrah, Brands Manager, Kasapreko, said: “Today marks World Water Day and as part of the celebrations we are donating these boxes of water to your company.
“Let me add that portions of the proceeds from the sale of the water are set aside to support the Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Last week, an amount of GHS100, 000 was donated to the Cardio Centre and in total we have donated an amount of GHS306,000 to the Centre. 16 people have so far benefited from such initiative.
“Awake Water contains the products the body needs, and so as you drink the water, you are helping your body and at the same time supporting the Cardio Centre.”
