The only independent presidential candidate in the 2016 presidential election, Jacob Osei Yeboah (JOY), has promised to establish one sports facility in each of the 216 districts across the country if he wins the December 7 polls.
According to him, this move will go a long way to improve the country’s sports facilities and in the end rejuvenate the sector.
Speaking in an interview with Class Sports on Wednesday October 19, JOY said: “In all of this, we can actually train and develop people to go in for gold (in their respective disciplines), for us because at the end of the day sports can also put the country on the map.”
