Ghanaian Afro-pop singer, Noella Wiyaala, has won the award for Best Female Artiste at this year’s Jigwe Awards. Wiyaala stood tallest among MzVee, Becca, Efya, and Itz Tffany to snatch the highly contested award.
Receiving the award on her behalf, movie director/musician Kobi Rana hailed the musician for her hard work and for putting Ghana and on the world map.
Wiyaala made headlines with the video of ‘Leno’ which she released this year. She has had a successful tour in Europe and has performed at the WOMAD UK Festival 2016, the world famous music festival set in the historic grounds of Charlton Park, Wiltshire, in the UK.
