The founder of UT holdings, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, has said he will offload some shares of his company to Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie if the musician shows interest in owning shares in the firm.
Rumours were rife a few months ago that Sarkodie had reached an agreement with Mr Amoabeng to own 50 per cent shares in UT. Mr Amoabeng, however, denied that rumour on Entertainment Capital on Accra 100.5FM on Saturday August 27.
Speaking to show host DJ Premier, Mr Amoabeng said: “I think because they see us hang around together a lot of times people assume he owns 50 per cent but it’s not true, but if he wants 50 per cent, I will probably consider giving him a part because he stands well and he is my idol”.
