Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as LilWin, has made a firm pronouncement in relation to his affection for his mother.
During an interview with Zionfelix on 22 January 2025, the actor opened up on his loyalty, respect and deep affection for his mother, stating that that he would prioritise her wishes over his marriage.
“If I haven’t divorced my wife, my sisters can’t tell me to do so. But if my mother tells me to divorce her, I will do it. I don’t need any respect from my wife; I want her to respect my mother,” LilWin stated.
The actor further emphasised his deep respect for his mother, Madam Adwoa Offe, stating that his perspective on marriage and life has been influenced by the life lessons and wisdom nuggets from his mother.
He stated his opinion that his wife should take a cue from his mother.
Lil Win’s deep affection for his mother was recently demonstrated in a grand gesture to celebrate her 80th birthday. He gifted her a lavish 12-bedroom mansion, a testament to his gratitude, love and care over the years.The Kumawood star prior to the gift to his mother frequently updated fans on the construction of the mansion. The actor in 2017 made a similar gesture to his mother with an eight-bedroom house. At the time, LilWin explained that it was a token of appreciation for the sacrifices his mother made to support his dream of becoming an actor in Ghana’s movie industry.
