Supt George Asare has said he is too small to remove the Inspector General of Police Dr. Akuffo Dampare from his position as the Inspector General
The subject is a leaked audio in which police officers were heard conspiring to find a replacement for the current IGP, Dr George Akuffo Dampare.
The three police officers supposedly linked to the tape have been invited to assist the Ad-hoc committee’s probe.
During the sitting by Parliamentary committee probing an alleged plot to remove the Inspector General of Police (IGP) from office, Monitored by Mubarak Yakubu, the Supt George who was also heard in the leaked tape says he has never had any discussion with Bugri Naabu to take Dr. Dampare off from his position.
One of the chairpersons who doubles as the MP for Okaikoi Central Patrick Boamah tells Supt George Asare that they seem to mafia Dr. Dampare, however, Supt George Asare denied that and says he has no power to do so.
