The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has postponed the Evening Encounter with the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Without giving any reason for the re-schedule, the IEA said the new date will be announced soon.
The three-time presidential candidate was initially billed to have his session on July 5. His session comes after the presidential candidates of the People’s National Congress (PNC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Edward Mahama and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, respectively.
The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, however, will not participate in this year’s programme after the governing party announced it was boycotting all IEA events in connection with the 2016 polls.
The evening encounter gives flagbearers the opportunity to share details of their manifestos to the public.
