If you’ve ever had a deep conversation with any hardworking Ghanaian artist, their greatest dilemma has to do with selecting and releasing a song out of the dozens of records at their disposal. This is because they keep recording as and when the inspiration comes so the number keeps doubling.
So, it becomes a big blow if these unreleased records get lost for compiling a meaningful song – not the Patapaa’s kind of vibes which cometh with no inspiration – is no joke! But unfortunately for Nana Yaw Adjei Maradona or otherwise known as GURUNKZ, he has lost 450 virgin or unreleased vibes for no reason.
Narrating his ordeal to DJ Reuben in the studios of Luv 99.5 FM in Kumasi, Guru explained that all the 450 songs were saved on his phone perhaps an iPhone and one armed robber maneuvered his ways to steal the phone.
Guru added that such experience informed his decision to release a song daily in the month of February, 2019. Remember that starting this month, Guru took to Twitter and made his fans privy of his willingness to release a song daily. To Guru, it’s better to release the songs than to lose them to an armed robber.
