The third stop of Joy FM’s mega shopping experience hit the Achimota Retail Centre (Achimota Mall) Saturday in a grand style.
Hundreds of shoppers couldn’t just resist the temptation of being a part of Joy FM’s redefinition of shopping at the newly opened Retail Centre.
With the Achimota Mall being third stop, after successful runs at the West Hills Mall and the Junction Mall, patrons knew what they were in for – unlimited fun.
The mega shopping experience kicked off on Friday at the Achimota Retail Centre to good music and dedications. Popular shows, Sports Masters with Nathaniel Attoh and the Drive Time with Lexis Bill were also brought to listeners live from the mall.
On Saturday, the experience kicked off with a special edition of the Rhythmz A-Z show with Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye and The Morning Man, Kojo Yankson.
The two, a perfect pair, thrilled patrons and listeners to good music and exciting conversations. Families took turns to send special dedication to their loved once. The birthday celebrators were not left out.
For the smart ones, Mamavi and Kojo had some tricky questions for them. Those who excelled won vouchers and giveaways.
Drive Time host, Lexis Bill and JoyNews Prime on MultiTV anchor, Israel Laryea took over affairs after 3pm. They continued the giveaway spree.
There was a new twist, the giveaways were now not only limited to the ‘brains’ but those with dancing skills too. Patrons took turns to show off their dancing skills. They received loud cheers from onlookers.
The shopping extravaganza is far from over as Ghana’s number one DJ, DJ Black is set to take over affairs. He will treat patrons to a special edition of the Joy @The Mall Jam later in the evening.
The shopping extravaganza ends Sunday.
