Mr Ayariga took the EC to court after the election management body disqualified him from the December 7 presidential race over some errors he committed while filling his nomination forms.
“The EC should have exercised patience in disqualifying Mr Ayariga”, Class FM’s correspondent Nabil Ahmed Rufai quoted the court as saying on Friday.
The court has, therefore, ordered the EC to give Mr Ayariga the chance to make the necessary corrections on his forms.
Last week, another High Court made a similar ruling in favour of the flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom.
