The head coach of the Black Stars, Avram Grant, is satisfied with the managers of the Black Stars because he is not complaining about the non-payment of his salary and other entitlements, Ibrahim Saanie Daara, Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has said.
His comments follow some media reports that Mr Grant has not received his entitlements, with less than two weeks to the start of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Uganda at the Tamale Sports Stadium on October 7.
There is the fear that any form of disagreement between the coach and the Ministry of Youth and Sports might jeopardise the chances of the team from qualifying for the Mundial.
Speaking with Class Sports on Monday September 26, Mr Daara said: “I spoke with Avram this morning and he never complained to me about anything about money and even if it is the case, he has not complained to me.”
“I am in constant touch with him and speak with him ten times in a day, so he has not told me that he has problems with money and if indeed it is the case, I need to confirm from my boss.”
