The family of missing Kumasi-based journalist has announced a GHS 33,000 cash reward for anyone who helps find Daasebre Adjei Dwamena either dead or alive.
Mr Dwamena, a journalist with Kumasi-based Ash FM, went to his hometown, Akyeremade, near Kokofu in the Bekwai constituency, to cast his vote on December 7 and never returned.
A police search was subsequently mounted and is yet to yield any fruitful results.
The spokesperson of the family, Nhyiraba Agyenim Boateng, at a news conference in Kumasi appealed to the public to help find Mr Dwamena.
“With sorrow and tears and on behalf of the parents and the entire family, we appeal to the general public to help us find our relative Daasebre Adjei Dwamena. Together with Ash FM, the family pledges to reward anyone who helps us find Daasebre with a sum of GHS 33,000 whether dead or alive,” Mr Boateng stated.
He added: “It’s been almost a month since he disappeared and still there is no sign of him. Although we have reported the case to COP Kofi Boakye, we are still appealing to him to help us find our relative.”
