The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to name a headline sponsor for the domestic league today, Monday 24 April, at a press briefing at the headquarters of the association.
The Premier League has been without a sponsor since 2015 when now Capital Bank decided to terminate their earlier engagement then as First Capital Plus on an initial five-year $10m sponsorship deal with the GFA.
The news has been met with cheer and joy as Premier League clubs have previously complained about the financial difficulty they suffer with the absence of the financial support that comes along with sponsorship deals.
The new sponsor’s deal adds to the ten-year deal the GFA signed with Chinese broadcaster StarTimes earlier this season.
