Genisys Solutions, a leading IT software company in Ghana and a member of the Pelican Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association.
The essence of this MOU is to enhance the understanding and cooperation between both parties in their area of business.
Under the MOU, registered members of GIBA will enjoy special discounts on the Genisys acclaimed Airwatch software; while Genisys Solutions Ltd also looks at expanding their client base across the country. The Airwatch software is an airtime inventory system for radio and television stations which increases efficiency and the quality of transmission.
Addressing the media, Mr. Peter Akakpo, General Manager of Genisys Solutions mentioned that; “This is the first of many of such MOUs to be signed with similar Associations across West Africa. Our goal is to enhance transmission across the media landscape in Ghana and the rest of West Africa.
By the time we are mid-way through with this; advertisers, agencies and institutions should have developed trust that their scheduled spots on media stations will surely be played. This leads to a high probability of enhancing efficiency for both the media stations and the spot buyers.”
It is anticipated that over 80 media stations from the Central and Western Regions would benefit from the software in the initial stages of this agreement.
Genisys Solutions was established in 1998. The company’s core business has been dedicated exclusively to mastering the evolving technologies that are redefining and engaging the world of business and social life.
Aside the Airwatch Software, Genisys Solutions can boast of the BizMaster-an inventory software which is being used by most retail and wholesale companies in the country.
In the coming days, the company will be launching its first Business Intelligence Solutions; this would have a mobile platform attached to it for easy accessibility.
