GCB Bank has presented 20 desktop computers, accessories and four printers valued at GHS46,000.00 to the Teshie Presbyterian Senior High School. This donation by the Bank, forms part of its corporate social responsibility towards education and youth development.
Most of the School’s computers for practical lessons at the ICT laboratory and official use had broken down thus, affecting teaching and learning as well as administrative work.
The Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Anselm Ray Sowah, who presented the computers said he was happy at the opportunity to honour the request adding, “It is even more pleasurable presenting these items to aid studies.”
He encouraged the students to take their studies seriously to enable them move forward in life and also make the School and Teshie as a whole, proud.
Mr. Sowah gave the assurance that the Bank would continue to assist the school to improve its amenities.
The Headmaster of the School, Mr. Aaron Atua Gyawu, expressed his gratitude to the Management of GCB for its support towards the development of the school.
The Head of Support Services Department of the Bank, Mr. Robert Akati Adamu, was present at the presentation ceremony.
