The Black Stars suffered a lone goal defeat to Mexico in Thursday’s friendly in Houston, Texas.
A penalty converted by Elias Hernandez in the 39th minute was enough to give the South Americans victory over the West Africans at the NRG Stadium.
Coach Kwesi Appiah played without key players like the Ayew brothers and Captain Asamoah Gyan and gave the new entrants the opportunity to cement their place in the squad.
Mexico also played with a second team as the first team are competing in the ongoing Confederations Cup in Russia.
The Black Stars will play USA next on 1 July in Connecticut.
