The founder of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has admonished President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo to look beyond the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and form a government with people who have the expertise no matter their political party or background.
In his congratulatory message after Mr Akufo-Addo’s victory in the presidential elections held on December 7, Mr Ayariga stated: “I admonish Nana Addo to be a president for all Ghanaians and do away with partisanship and adopt the all-inclusive governance system which I believe will help build and develop Ghana much better.”
Mr Akufo-Addo beat his closest competitor with close to one million votes, unseating incumbent John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
