Organizers of Foklex Media awards has made changes in the Ghanaian award schemes by varying the one-way face of only giving plaques to winners
The Ghanaian award scheme appears to be a one-way version where only plaques are given to winners of any award scheme in the country
However, Foklex Media awards seem to go contrary to how the award scheme is being done in Ghana, therefore, the organizers have revealed that they will be giving out vehicle to the media personality this year.
The Chief Executive officer of Foklex Media Awards Frank Owusu speaking to Angel FM’s Mubarak Yakubu said the awards which is scheduled to come off on May 13, 2023 at the National Theatre will see the personality with the highest nominee votes going home with a car.
According to him, the award which is in its 12th edition started giving cars to the winners with the highest votes from the 9th edition.
Frank Owusu added that the idea of the car give-away is to serve as a motivation for the Radio and TV presenters to work hard and professionally.
Nominees for the 2023 edition of the award were announced weeks ago at City Hills Events Centre at Millennium Centre, Kasoa.
On both sides of several categories with personalities drawn from radio and TV, the nominees were selected from the 16 regions of Ghana.
