Fire has destroyed portions of the East Wing of the 10th floor of Job 600 in Accra.
The fire, which started late afternoon on Tuesday July 18, has destroyed properties in offices located on the floor.
The cause of the inferno is unclear but this is not the first time the structure has been affected by fire.
The edifice was constructed during the administration of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President, to accommodate participants attending the OAU (now African Union) conference held in Accra in 1965.
It was later renovated and is currently being used as offices for Members of Parliament and other government officials.
