Asante Kotoko’s young shot stopper, Eric Ofori Antwi, believes he is in a strong position to retain his place as the clubs first choice goal keeper ahead of the upcoming League season. The 23 year old recently received his call up to the senior national team the Black Stars from head coach Avram Grant but is yet to make his full competitive debut. However, the presence of Felix Annan and Ernest Sowah means that David Duncan has quality options available to him in the goal keeping department.
According to him having quality competition can only serve him well in his development as a young footballer. “It all comes down to hardwork and applying yourself during training sessions”. “I am pleased with my level of training and I think that I will maintain my spot as number this year,” he revealed.
