The Electoral Commission is currently meeting with the seven presidential candidates who are contesting in this year’s elections to get them to commit to accept the outcome, whatever it may be.
The meeting is being held at the Moevenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra under the auspices of the National Peace Council.
All the candidates are at the meeting. They will be made to sign a peace accord and also commitment to accept the outcome of the 7 December polls.
The meeting was also aimed at giving the candidates the opportunity to directly seek clarification from the Chair of the EC, Mrs Charlotte Osei ahead of the polls on Wednesday.
