Ghanaian youth should join the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to access the numerous opportunities it has for them as well as play their part in the country’s march towards prosperity, actor John Dumelo has urged.
Mr Dumelo, speaking at the NDC’s 2016 campaign launch at Cape Coast, advised young persons, including the youth of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), to join the “tolerant”, “peaceful”, and “orderly” NDC as he had done some years ago despite being the target of “insults” by some opponents.
“So, I am extending my hand to all Ghanaian youth that if they wish to see Ghana prosper, they should come join the NDC because we are the party that will move Ghana forward from now till eternity,” he said
“I am telling you that the opportunity in the NDC is better than any party that will promise you. Some people are promising you hope; the hope is happening right now. Some people are saying they will do this, but JM is doing it already. So what are [they] coming to do?
“Let me extend the invitation to the youth in the NPP. This is the time to join the winning team. The time to join is now.”
