Prophet Reindorf Oduro Gyebi, founder of God’s Crown Chapel in Daaban, Kumasi, has called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to set up a national day of prayer and fasting to avert further disasters in the country, lest he be blamed for the tragedies befalling the country.
Prophet Gyebi’s advice comes on the heels of Sunday’s accident which occurred at the Kintampo Waterfalls, killing 18 persons, most of whom were students of the Wenchi Methodist Senior High School.
Prophet Gyebi, who was captured in a video prophesying the Kintampo accident a week earlier, warned his prophecy should not be taken for granted or many disasters would befall the country in the near future.
Speaking on the Executive Breakfast Show (EBS) on Class91.3FM on Monday March 20, he said: “The message for the president is very simple. The president should rise up because I know that many will associate his leadership with what is happening. And people are going to use what is happening to tarnish his image. And as he has started in his office, God is with him and God will forever be with him. But he needs to step out and call all the men of God that are in Ghana, sit down with them and find a day and date for national prayer for rescuing Ghana.
“I know there are lots of men of God around him, so he can consult them…thus sayeth the Lord. This is not the voice of Prophet Reindorf, this is the voice of Elohim. Thus sayeth the Lord and nobody should doubt what I’m saying because it is better to believe and live than to doubt and die. Nobody knows everything. We know in part, we prophesy in part, we see in part, so what you have not seen, your fellow sees it and is telling you, so better believe it. So the president should go forth and do it and declare that national prayer, in fact with one day fasting and prayer for Ghana.”
He added that Ghanaians, regardless of religious affiliation, should come together to partake in the national prayer and fasting. He said he gave the prophecy about the need for a day of national prayer and fasting earlier at his church in 2016 ahead of the New Year and was only repeating it because nothing had been done about it.
