Ghana kicks off the special voting exercise today, Thursday December 1, ahead of the main presidential and parliamentary elections on 7 December.
Persons partaking in the exercise include military personnel as well as personnel from the other security agencies, journalists and officials of the Electoral Commission.
The special voting exercise is to afford key individuals and groups who will be playing special roles on election day the opportunity to cast their vote ahead of the main polls so they are not disenfranchised.
Two hundred and seventy five polling stations across the 275 constituencies of Ghana have been selected for the exercise.
In all 127,394 persons will be voting.
