The Dabone Twin brothers, Attah Dabone Senior and his brother Attah Dabone Junior has gifted an amount of Ghc 10,000 to the Ghana Premier league table leaders, Aduana Stars after beating Hearts of Oak 2-0 in Accra to stretch lead on League table
A poor showing from Hearts of Oak on Sunday afternoon saw the team lose to Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
In a Week 18 encounter of the Ghanaian top-flight league yesterday staged at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Phobians targeted a win to close the gap on the league leaders. Unfortunately, Coach Slavko Matic and his boys could not execute their plan to upset the in-form team from Dormaa
During yesterday’s contest, Hearts of Oak managed to hold Aduana Stars for just 45 minutes but succumbed to the might of the visitors in the second half.
Just two minutes after recess, Isaac Mintah equalised to shoot Aduana Stars into a deserved lead.
Later in the 64th minute, the same player scored again to complete a sensational brace to steer Aduana Stars to a 2-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
Courtesy of the win, Aduana Stars are still top of the Ghana Premier League table, this time around with a five-point lead.
Meanwhile, the Twin brothers Attah Dabone Senior and Attah Dabone Junior showed up at the stadium and surprised the players with an amount of Ghc 10,000 to boost their morale.
Aduana Football Club Fans posted on their Facebook page to show appreciation to the twins for their support to the team.
