Ghanaian hip hop artiste D-Black has revealed he will be launching his next album on September 30 as well as open his night club on the same night.
Speaking with #MauvietheMotivator on Touch of Class on Class91.3FM, the Vera hit maker noted that the album consists of 19 songs but only two of those songs have been released so far.
“…It drops on the 30th of September; I’ve dropped only two songs and they are Kotomoshi and Omega. Those are the only two songs off the album so there are about 17 more songs on that album that you will get when it comes out,” he stated.
Explaining why he hadn’t released an album in four years, D-Black said: “The last time I released an album was in 2012; that was the album with Vera. In 2014, I was about to release another album, the first song was Personal Person with Castro but unfortunately we all know what happened with Castro so I stopped recording for a while because we had two songs out there – Seihor and Personal Person. I just stopped recording and then I switched my direction. I produced a movie and got into a clothing line, so I didn’t record the album in 2014.”
Born Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, D-Black is a multiple award-winning artiste. He owns and operates a marketing, advertising and events firm Black Avenue Works that specialises in corporate and social events, products, brand marketing, and advertising.
