Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has reiterated that creating job opportunities for Ghanaian youth and women is a top priority for the Akufo-Addo government.
In line with this, he said that government is collaborating with its development partners such as the Ford Foundation to create the enabling environment for the establishment and growth of business and civil society groups, with a view to opening up job opportunities.
Dr Bawumia said this when Mr. Darren Walker, the President of the Global Ford Foundation, USA, paid a courtesy call on him at the Flagstaff House on Monday, 17 July.
The discussion between Dr Bawumia and Mr Walker centered around cooperation in the areas of business and investment for the mutual benefit of both parties.
