He told Chief Jerry Forson, host of the Ghana Yensom show on Tuesday, October 3 that: “We want to hit hard at the armed robbers and other criminals such as land guards. We have realised that crime rate in the region is going up and so we need to scale up our efforts in fighting the crime.
“We will continue to hunt the criminals until they stop their activities. This action will continue till Christmas in December.”
He added: “Forty police officers have trained for this purpose.”
He assured the people of the region the police will provide adequate safety for them and their business.
“We will really disturb the armed robbers, we are sending the battle to their door steps, we know where they are hiding,” he said.
