Nana Apeanti, General Manager of Class Media Group (CMG), has been awarded an honorary Executive Certificate of Excellence for his contribution to the media industry in Ghana.
The award was conferred on him by Archer Media Institute, one of the leading journalism training institutes in Ghana.
The citation read: “The Institute confers on you this afore-mentioned honour in recognition of your hard work in contemporary showbiz journalism. You have created platforms in marketing credible brands and projecting professional journalism core values. In respect of this, you have achieved a lot of honour among your peers.”
Last week, Mr Apeanti was also awarded an honorary Doctor of Administration (Decision Making) by the Rescue Mission Theological University in the United States of America (USA).
He was rewarded for impacting positively on the lives of Ghanaians through his work in the media over the years.
His name will be enshrined in the university’s Hall of Glory as one of the people championing societal development in Africa.
Speaking at the ceremony in Accra on Saturday, 9 September 2017, the President of the King of Kings World Foundation, Bishop Dr Joseph Kweku Asante, said Nana Apeanti has impacted positively on so many lives in Ghana and for that reason, deserved to be honoured.
