Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has alleged that former Chief Executive Officer of Bullhaus Entertainment Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson – popularly known as Bulldog – once threatened to kill him like he did to “the other guy”.
This happened in Sweden while the multiple award-winning artiste was on a tour in Europe, Shatta Wale known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah said.
Speaking for the first, and probably the last – as he claims – on the recent break-up with managers Bullhaus Entertainment, Shatta Wale said Bulldog issued the threat during a fracas in Sweden.
He made these revelations while speaking on an Accra-based radio station on Monday, November 2.
Bulldog was picked up by the police as a suspect during investigations into the death of Fennec Okyere, the manager of Kwaw Kese, after it emerged he had sent the deceased “life-threatening” text messages.
But he was later released.
Though he did not mention names, Shatta Wale, formerly known as Bandana, said during the exchange of words in Sweden: “Somebody asked him; Bulldog are you not the same person who has issues to answer in Ghana about things like these, and he responded; don’t mind him, I will kill him like I killed the other guy.”
He accused Bulldog of begging for “cheap” things like phones from promoters, one reason why he lost interest in him as his manager.
