Kevin-Prince Boateng has come to an agreement with Las Palmas regarding the termination of his contract just two days before their season opener against Valencia, and just three months after he penned a three-year extension.
The club explained on its official website that: “For this institution, all of the players in the squad are people first and professionals second.”
The former AC Milan midfielder cited “irreversible personal reasons,” for his decision to leave the club.
Las Palmas wished the 30-year-old all the best and thanked him for his professionalism.
Boateng joined Las Palmas in August 2016.
