Chinese club Jiangsu Suning have confirmed the signing of Ghana striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom in a three-year deal from Serbian club Crvena Zvezda.
The 24-year-old was previously linked with a move to French Ligue 1 side Bordeaux in the January transfer window but the talks fell through following injury issues.
The deal with the Nanjing-based outfit is reported to be around €5.5 million, plus adds-on based on performance.
Our Ghanaian striker Richmond Yiadom Boakye signed a three-year contract with Chinese side Jiangsu Suning after a reported €5.5M move. @Boakye__Magic14 was a joy to watch as he banged in 39 goals and endeared himself to Zvezda fans in just over a year.
With Cameroon striker Benjamin Moukandjo joining Beijing Renhe on loan until end of the season, Yiadom, a former Juventus player, has been brought in as a direct replacement.
The Ghanaian, who will be playing alongside former Chelsea midfielder Ramirez, scored 39 goals in 48 matches in all competitions last term for Zvezda, helping the team to reach the knockout stage of the Europa League this season.
He is likely to make his bow when Suning take on Guizhou Zhicheng on Sunday.
