Just a few short months after delivering twins, Beyonce will be making her highly anticipated return to the stage alongside hubby Jay-Z.
According to US Weekly, the Carters are set to take over the Barclays Center for a benefit concert aimed to raise funds for those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Slated to take place on October 17, the show will also reportedly feature a slew of artists under the Roc Nation moniker.
In the aftermath of the unprecedented effects of Hurricane Harvey, Beyonce has been actively involved in relief efforts for her beloved city of Houston. Earlier this month, the Grammy award-winning singer delivered a heartfelt appeal during the Hand in Hand telethon. Bey also headed to her hometown to distribute food and supplies to those affected by the devastating tropical storm.
“This, today, is a celebration of survival,” she told evacuees at St. John’s Church. “Y’all are my family. Houston is my home. I thank God that y’all are safe, that your children are safe. The things that really matter are your health and your children, and your family and your life.”
