Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has emphasised that nothing will deter government from creating an environment for businesses to flourish.
According to Dr Bawumia, the message of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) “for change was on economic transformation, curbing corruption and that is fundamentally what we are doing”.
For him, the Nana Akufo-Addo-led government is a “reformist government” and “we are keeping a close, laser focus on the economy so that we do not get any surprises, so we can stay ahead of the curve”.
He made these comments when a delegation from Stanbic Bank Ghana, as well as senior officials from their parent company Standard Bank Group, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, paid an official visit to him at the Flagstaff House.
