Government has pledged to provide the needed resources to Passport Application Centres (PACs) across the country to make them more efficient.
According to Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the introduction of the online application service will make the process of obtaining passports easier for applicants.
He made these remarks when he paid a surprise visit to the Passport Office on Thursday 23 March.
He was received by Samuel Ofosu Boateng, Deputy Director of Passports.
Dr Bawumia, since assuming office, has similarly paid surprise visits to the Registrar-General’s Department and the Tema port.
