Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has left Accra for Iran to attend the investiture of President Hassan Rouhani after his re-election.
Dr Bawumia will spend three days and while there, he will explore areas for further cooperation between Ghana and Iran.
He was accompanied by Mustapha Hamid, Minister of Information; Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, Minister of Business Development; Boniface Abubakar Siddique, Minister of Zongo Development; and Mohammed Habib Tijani, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
They are expected to return to Ghana on Monday 7th August 2017.
