President Akufo-Addo has charged the last batch of the newly sworn Deputy Ministers not to renege on their duties as members of the legislature while doubling as deputy ministers, urging them to balance these roles effectively.
According to the president, sincere partnership between the legislative and executive arms of the state bodes well for the welfare of the Ghanaian people.
He made these remarks during a brief ceremony at the Banquet Hall of State House to swear the last batch of deputy ministers into office on Wednesday, April 12.
Major Derek Oduro, Deputy Minister of Defence and Member of Parliament (MP), Nkoranza North, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, assured the president of their commitment to achieve the goals of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
