Black Satellites produced an impressive performance to see off Ethiopia in the second leg of the African Youth Championship qualifier.
Two goals in each half ensured Ghana overturned a 2-1 deficit as the Satellites qualified to last qualifying round 5-1 on aggregate.
The match which had been rained off on Sunday began on a good note for the Satellites as Yaw Yeboah headed home the first goal in the 6th minute from a by Geofrey Acheampong.
The goal levelled the tie but put Ghana ahead on the away goals’ rule.
The lead was doubled two minutes later when Dauda Mohammed side footed a pass from captain Kingsley Fobi after some clever footwork.
The Satellites took their feet off the peddle a bit after Dauda’s second but got the much needed cushion through Inter Allies Evans Mensah in the 57th minute who finished from close range after he was brilliantly played through by Yaw Yeboah.
Yeboah capped off an impressive performance with a free kick from 25 yards to put gloss on the victory for Ghana who proceed to face Senegal.
