The Black Queens have drawn in the group of death for this year’s African Women’s Championship.
The Queens will play tough opponents such as defending champions Nigeria, Kenya and Mali in Group B.
Ghana failed to progress from the group stage of the last edition in Namibia and the Black Queens have never beaten the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the African championship.
The 2016 African Women’s Championship will be played from 19 November to 3 December in Yaounde and Limbe.
Group A is made up of hosts Cameroon as well as Egypt, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
