A man is said to have lost his new girlfriend after Facebook suffered a seven-hour meltdown on Monday evening that started with a bungled server update, faulty update file which was sent to company’s core systems, effectively disconnecting them from the internet
If it will be recalled yesterday Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger all went down – along with all of the internal systems needed to fix the problem, right down to key-fob door locks
Facebook Inc, which owns all the sites, lost an estimated $100million in direct revenue during the blackout

However, a man whose name was given as Bro Fii said the social media blackout has really affected him and his new relationship.
According to him, he mostly uses Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram for most of his works but the saddest part was about a new girlfriend he got during the weekend
Fii said he tried sending message to the lady after they agreed to go for a date but he however tried all his possible best sending messages through WhatsApp and Facebook but all prove futile
He said the girl called him this morning and said she is no more interested in the relationship
“I use social Media for most of my businesses but the saddest part is that, I lost my serous girlfriend”
“I made up my mind yesterday to send my new girlfriend a message for us to meet, tried and it didn’t go through so because of that I called the lady this morning and she said she is no more interested in the relationship”
